I can no longer believe

„I can no longer believe in revolution, but I cannot fail to be on the side of the young who are fighting for it. It´s already an illusion to write poetry, and yet I continue to do so, even if for me poetry is no longer the marvelous classical myth that exalted my adolescence. I no longer believe in dialectic and contradiction, but only in opposition.“ — Pier Paolo Pasolini, interview to Jean-Michel Gardair, „Le Monde“, February 26th, 1971.
